Haven is still early, and the best way to build it well is to work directly with real breeders. For the first 10 programs, Haven's founder is personally helping with migration and setup in exchange for honest feedback about what works, what doesn't and what breeders actually need.
That means you get the work done for you, and we get to watch a real breeding program use Haven week to week — which is the only way this gets built right.
You don’t owe Haven a positive testimonial, and there’s no obligation to stay after the free year.
No surprises
What happens after the first year?
Your free year begins when your Haven site goes live. After 12 months, you can continue on Haven at the standard plan price available at that time.
There's no obligation to continue.
You decide at the end of the year, at the plan price published then. Nothing renews behind your back and there's no founding-breeder contract to exit.
You keep ownership of your domain.
Your domain is registered to you and stays that way the entire time. If you move on, you point it wherever you want.
Fit
Is the Founding Breeder Program a good fit?
It’s probably a good fit if most of these sound like you.
- You're actively breeding dogs.
- You already have a breeder website or an established program.
- Website updates take more effort than they should.
- You regularly update litters, puppies, photos or availability.
- You're willing to give honest feedback while Haven is early.
We're selecting 10 active breeding programs that are a good fit for Haven. Applying doesn't guarantee a spot.
Before you apply
Two things we’d rather say up front.
We move your content into Haven's design, not a copy of your old site.
Haven currently has one primary website design and doesn't yet have extensive branding customization. The Founding Breeder Program moves your breeder content into Haven's breeder-specific website design rather than recreating your existing website pixel for pixel.
Haven links to your health testing — it doesn't store the files.
Haven can link buyers to OFA reports, genetic testing and other health records. If your documents aren't already online, we'll help you create a simple share location using something like Google Drive or Dropbox.
